Thunder guard Russell Westbrook had surgery on a fracture to the zygomatic arch bone and will be re-evaluated this week.
Westbrook sustained a visible dent in the side of his face he connected with Andre Roberson’s knee during a scramble for a ball with 2.5 seconds left in OKC’s 115-112 loss to the Blazers on Friday.
Westbrook has already missed 14 games this season and he may miss a few more as he rehabs this injury. He’ll be re-evaluated next week.
